Amigo Seafood Restaurant

The Lobster House Since 1985

About Amigo

Four decades of passion carried by the second generation, the Amigo Brothers, continuing a timeless family legacy.

Founded in 1985 in Cap Malheureux by the late Ambigah Parasuraman, Amigo was built on a simple devotion: respect for the sea and excellence in hospitality. Today, his three sons, Kavinen, Yovissen and Kovishen, proudly carry this vision forward.

At the heart of Amigo is our signature whole langouste, flame-grilled and served with pride. For nearly 40 years, we have specialised in celebrating this exceptional product, selecting only the freshest daily catch and preparing it with precision and elegance.

Alongside our iconic langouste, we offer a refined selection of fresh fish, generous seafood platters and a few Mauritian classics inspired by our family table.

Over the years, Amigo has welcomed loyal Mauritian families and distinguished international guests including Jacques Chirac, Christophe Maé, Dadju, Emmanuelle Béart, Julien Lepers, Chantal Goya among many.

Strong in tradition. Elegant in spirit.
Amigo remains a place of celebration, sharing and unforgettable seafood moments since 1985.
